The Holidays prevail!!!

Very much looking forward to the holidays this year.  I love seeing the smiling face of my toddler son when he sees the Christmas tree turn on and twinkle all through the night.

Like most children, my little one is trying to be on his best behavior for Santa, so he can bring him his coveted (is that how you spell it) choo choo train set.

I am still in the midst of putting my craft room back together, right now it is a mesh of craft and hiding gifts galore. Oh scrapbooking god, please help me. LOL!

With me working on my craft room, I'm definitely getting ideas and inspirations for future layouts. 

I am definitely seeing a light at the end of this scrapbooking tunnel. 

Okay, back to cleaning and wrapping gifts!

On the Road to Inspiration

Hello all!

I have begun to remodel my basement to turn it into my craft room. YAY! Maybe that will also inspire me to scrapbook and create.. when everything I have can be seen and used. LOL! (Scrapbookers, you know what I'm  talking about. I've already painted the walls and started moving some of my supplies down into the room.

In other news, I have also begun taking an online photography class via JessicaSprague.com 
The class so far is awesome! I'm having fun and learning the camera world off of the AUTO setting of my camera. It's great and it's truly inspiring and giving me a good swift kick in the ass to learn more.

Okay, well that is all for now - hopefully as the year 2010 ends so will my creative dryspell.

I'm gonna grab the year 2011 by the horns and say "INSPIRE ME"

Happy Birthday To Me!

You ever have one of those days that just make you happy and smile all day?! Well for once, one of those kinda days was today.. and of all days it was on my 31st birthday! How awesome is that!  Everything about today, just happened to inspire me about life in general and how lucky I really am to have the friends and family that l have.
I'm hoping today is just the start of a very creative and inspiring year for me. I look forward to my upcoming 31st year of life. *fingers crossed* That I will win the lottery and share the wealth. LOL! Nah.. that's wishful thinking.   In addition to having an inspiring day, a friend of mine (Eric) just made my night with his very talented singing. I just happened to click on one of his video links and it was just great! Much props to him and his singing.  I ended up listening and watching every single one of his videos. Just AWESOME!  Thank you Eric.

Let's see if I can take some of this inspiration now and create something with it....  *waves*  Goodnight all and blog with you again real soon!

Defeating the Un-Inspired Self in Me

Hello all! I welcome myself to the online world of blogging. I have been tossing the idea back and forth for awhile now - but was never able to convince myself to follow through with creating an account that sounded somewhat interesting to blog about.

But then after seeing a friend's blog, (thank you ScrappingBeauty) and her beautiful display of cards, I was like what the heck.. just do it and see where the blog takes you. So here I am, blogging for the first time and hopefully it will be as fun, craft & scrapbooking inspiring as I imagined.  *fingers crossed and maybe even some pinky toes too*

My goal for this blog is for no one other than myself and my appreaciation for art and all things beautiful, and maybe if I'm having a really crappy day - for my own sanity.  Can I guarantee that I am an *EVERYDAY* blogger...uhmm... probably not. Can I guarantee that I am an EVERYDAY crafter.. would LOVE to be... but nope..I have a toddler and that's wishful thinking. Let's not start telling little white lies now. I am a craftMOMMA..above all else.  But for all you lovely crafters out there, that happen to hop on to join me on my journey through my trials and tribulations - in the words of my toddler "ALL ABOARD!!!" for it's going to be a slow moving adventure. But if not then, hopefully a happy and interestng read.  :)
